The Data on Kubernetes Day virtual event is quickly approaching. Register to learn from experts at the forefront of running data on Kubernetes. Today, we are excited to announce the addition of two new panels to our schedule:
- The first will feature Dreamworks’ Data Service Lead, Ara Zarifian, and Zalando’s Database Engineer, Alexander Kukushkin. Panelists will discuss how they are managing stateful workloads on Kubernetes, key benefits and challenges, and best practices. We’ll also discuss their vision for the future growth of the data on Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Our second panel is focused on Kubernetes and databases. Panelist Rick Vasquez posits that mainstream database providers should not only create Kubernetes operators but also directly develop the database with Kubernetes awareness, and deep integration. Alex Williams, founder of The New Stack, will moderate a panel including Rick from Western Digital, Mickey Boxell from Oracle, and Deepthi Sigireddi from the Vitess community (who works at PlanetScale) to discuss the future of databases on Kubernetes.
