What is DoK Students Day?

It’s no secret that Kubernetes is challenging and that Data on Kubernetes presents additional learning opportunities. What are stateful and stateless workloads? What’s an operator? How strong is data gravity?

We know these topics can be complex, and even overwhelming, but we are committed to helping everyone become more familiar with the Data on Kubernetes ecosystem which is why we’ve decided to put on this event.

And what better way to learn than by turning students into teachers? Most of our student speakers have been developing their knowledge and confidence with us on these technologies and are actively putting their skills into practice.

The event will be MC’d by Bart Farrell, Head of Community in the DoKC, and co-chaired by the 4 incredible DoKC interns- Vanshika Srivastava, Karuna Tata, Kaiwalya Koparkar, and Kunal Verma. There will also be an announcement about new internship opportunities to join the DoKC team!

Did we mention there will be musicians from multiple countries, swag giveaways, and the winning talk will be featured at DoK Day NA, our co-located KubeCon event on October 12th?

The event is sure to be a lot of fun, so register today, for free and come learn from and engage with our student teachers so that we can all learn about the Data on Kubernetes ecosystem, together!
