Join DoKC
The Data on Kubernetes Community (DoKC) is an openly governed group of practitioners collaborating to accelerate the use of Kubernetes for data. Our open community is biased towards openness – and open source. The community is funded by sponsors who believe the industry needs a place to collaborate to solve the challenges of working with data on Kubernetes.

Why join?
Now is the perfect time to join and help shape the future of the DoKC. In September 2021 we announced a new governance structure and sponsorship model to accelerate community growth and collaboration. Sponsors of DoKC participate in a range of networking and marketing programs designed to drive industry awareness of DoK.
Key benefits include:
- The ability to shape the early formation of DoKC
- Assist in the creation of working groups including leadership opportunities
- Contribute and get early access to new industry research
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the data on Kubernetes space
- Contribute to the growth of the community, education, and ecosystem efforts
Our flagship research report is the first of its kind, created to provide the industry with a neutral view of the DoK landscape. Sponsors contribute to the creation of the survey and receive access to the full data set.
Community Collaborator
We exist to advance the conversation around data on Kubernetes. Our goal with the Community Collaborator program is to facilitate collaboration amongst DoK-related technology communities and end users who are running data-intensive workloads on Kubernetes.
A DoKC Community Collaborator is defined as an Open Source Project backed by a nonprofit entity (e.g. The Apache Software Foundation or the Cloud Native Computing Foundation) that does not sell a product or service.
