The Data on Kubernetes Community (DoKC) is an openly governed group of practitioners collaborating to accelerate the use of Kubernetes for data. Our open community is biased towards openness – and open source. The community is funded by sponsors who believe the industry needs a place to collaborate to solve the challenges of working with data on Kubernetes.
Now is the perfect time to join and help shape the future of the DoKC. In September 2021 we announced a new governance structure and sponsorship model to accelerate community growth and collaboration. Sponsors of DoKC participate in a range of networking and marketing programs designed to drive industry awareness of DoK.
Key benefits include:
- The ability to shape the early formation of DoKC
- Assist in the creation of working groups including leadership opportunities
- Contribute and get early access to new industry research
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the data on Kubernetes space
- Contribute to the growth of the community, education, and ecosystem efforts
Our flagship research report is the first of its kind, created to provide the industry with a neutral view of the DoK landscape. Sponsors contribute to the creation of the survey and receive access to the full data set.
Comprised of sponsor appointees responsible for marketing, budget, and other business oversight decisions.
The Marketing Working Group (MWG) is composed of sponsor appointees who will help develop additional working groups that will be open to any community member to help define DoK use cases and challenges.
End user community
For end users only to connect and provide anonymized input to the Working Groups. End users are defined as organizations that use data on Kubernetes technologies internally, but do not sell any data on Kubernetes services externally. Email melissa [at] dok.community for details.
